Personalising your wedding

Updated: Oct 16, 2019

Something we are regularly asked by couples viewing our venue is, 'can we add our own touches or ideas?' and our answer is, hell yeah!

As much as possible, we will try to accommodate your wishes and work with you to make your day personal to you, and we absolutely love to hear your ideas and to see your visions for our venue come to life.

The packages and photos on our website are just a guide, you are free to plan your day however you like. As we mentioned in our last blog, your ceremony can be held any time of day, we also offer reception only weddings and we're always open to hosting a big ole party!

But more than being adaptable to the running of your day, we are lucky to have a venue that suits so many different over all looks for weddings!

The beauty of our venue speaks for itself if you want to keep things simple and elegant...

And the neutral tones of our white walls and wooden floors also work perfectly as a blank canvas for any colour scheme you can think of...

There are areas of our venue that offer prime-personalisation opportunities! Our favourite is the cove, in which many couples choose to display for their lovely cakes...

That's our favourite, now for some florist favourites! Many florists cannot wait to get their hands on our stairs - dressing the banister is a great way to set the tone for your wedding's style...

And next - chairs! Not always a couple's top priority at the start of wedding planning, but once you get looking at what's out there we guarantee you'll be dreaming about wedding chairs!

Our beautiful wooden chairs are in-keeping with The Old Parish Rooms nineteenth century aesthetic and we love seeing how couples choose to style them on the day...

There are so many wonderful ways to add personal style to your big day - if you need any help with suppliers, we have a list of our favourites here and anyone's work featured in this post is listed below.

If you would like to come and look around our venue, please get in touch and feel free to come to our Open Day on the 27th of June - we'll be open to all from 6.30pm - 9pm!

Love, TOPR x
